 "Interference with public space" is any restriction to the way in which the general public is allowed to access public space such as parks or sidewalks. â€‹

 

"Surveillance" is any occasion where the police are monitoring a person or location without physically interfering with the object of their monitoring. 

 

"Securing the scene" refers to instances where the police temporarily restrict access to an area in order to secure a suspected crime scene.
